All trips and encounters with marine mammals are conducted strictly according to current regulations & conservation guidelines. Whilst experiencing this off-shore adventure your safety is never forgotten.

Experienced and competent skippers and staff ensure the safety of you.

Boats are equipped with safety equipment and maintained to a high standard and approved by the Marine Safety Authorities, having been custom built and designed especially for the Kwazulu-Natal sea conditions.

Trips are made daily, weather permitting, taking a maximum of 10 adventurers on a minimum of an hour trip to areas where the animals are most likely to be found. The tours are conducted throughout the year launching from the Shelly Beach Sunny Evans small craft harbour.

BOTTLENOSE DOLPHINS
Occur all year round in small groups of 30-60 animals. The influx of about 3000 migratory bottlenose dolphins following the annual sardine run makes for arguably the most spectacular dolphin viewing in the world.

COMMON DOLPHINS
Occur in the winter months with annual migration of the sardines. They can number between 15,000 and 30,000 and can be found in groups of up to 2,000 animals at a time.

HUMPBACK WHALES
The most boisterous of all whales in South Africa can be found between June and November. Known as the most exciting whales to watch, they provide inspiring aerial displays. They migrate from the Antarctic feeding grounds to the breeding grounds off Mozambique and frequently return in cow/calf pairs.
